Painting and Screen Printing
Painting and Screen Printing Color, Identity, and Timeless Design
Description

Painting is the process of coloring the surface of glass by manually applying paint with an air-powered spray gun. The process uses two-component polyurethane or ceramic paints manufactured according to the RAL system. Painted glass is primarily used for interior and exterior decoration, such as cladding and partitions. Typically, this type of painting covers the entire glass surface in a single color, though it is also possible to paint simple patterns by first applying a stencil.
Another process carried out at the company is screen printing. In screen printing, the glass is coated with a special ceramic paint applied through a screen that is partially covered with a photosensitive emulsion in the shape of a specific design. The screen is custom-made for each required design. This technique allows for the application of various designs or the painting of the entire surface of the glass.
Glass painted with ceramic paint must be tempered so that the paint can be baked and penetrate the glass’s structure. This painting process is also known as enameling or heat painting.
